Associate, Financial Reporting - SEC and Management Reporting

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly earnings releases, Form 10-Q filings, and annual Form 10-K filings.
• Develop footnote and MD&A disclosures, analyze non-GAAP metrics and fund performance data, and validate supporting documentation.
• Prepare quarterly flash and snapshot results, financial results packages, and commentary for senior management.
• Support internal reporting for the Management Committee, Audit Committee, and CFO earnings packages.
• Maintain SOX controls, documentation, data collection systems, financial reporting software, general ledger reports, and document retention systems.
• Improve reporting workflows through automation and process streamlining while investigating and resolving reconciling items.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise and SEC reporting experience.
• Strong Excel, verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret fund performance metrics, identify unusual trends, manage multiple priorities, and work independently and collaboratively.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to drive tasks through to completion.
• Ability to work from New York, New York.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Big Four or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with Workiva, OneStream, forecasting, modeling, or financial analysis.
