Director, Walk to End Alzheimer's (Home Office)

Location: Remote-based in the United States; Chicago, Illinois listed as the position location. Travel required up to 70%.

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 annually, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus of up to 6%.

What you will do

• Lead the national Walk to End Alzheimer’s program and support revenue growth strategies.
• Provide training, consultation, resources, and growth planning for territories, chapters, staff, and volunteers.
• Develop nationwide, regional, and local onboarding and training curricula, including web-based and in-person sessions.
• Lead consulting and training efforts for assigned walk programs and collaborate with field teams on event strategies.
• Monitor quantitative and qualitative results, evaluate performance, and identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee program resources and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of national or regional event management and training experience in a nonprofit environment.
• Experience implementing walks generating more than $1 million, recruiting C-suite leaders, and securing top-level sponsorships.
• 5+ years of experience managing and coaching staff.
• Organized walk-event experience and the ability to adapt program experience to organizational needs.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, prioritization, independent judgment, and database skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

• Local or regional executive leadership experience.
• Experience with Luminate.
