Professional Services Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Support hirify.global deployments for enterprise and federal clients under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Configure and integrate the platform with Splunk, Azure Sentinel, ServiceNow, and other SIEM/ITSM tools.
• Support deployments and tuning across hybrid IT, cloud, OT, and IoT environments.
• Help deliver customer training and document implementation workflows, dashboards, reports, and operational processes.
• Develop Python/API automation and troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and onboarding.
• Communicate engagement status, collaborate with project managers and technical teams, and escalate complex issues early.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in network or security engineering, IT support, or a related technical role; internships and academic lab experience count.
• Foundational networking knowledge covering routing, switching, firewalls, IPv4/IPv6, and VLANs.
• Basic familiarity with AWS or Azure and willingness to learn SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Willingness to learn Python, JSON, and YAML for automation, reporting, and workflow tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting to customers alongside a senior engineer.
• Learning mindset and comfort working directly with customers in a technical, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Network+, Security+, CCNA, or AWS/Azure Fundamentals certification.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or bash scripting.
• Coursework or exposure to NIST, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Interest in AI-powered security tools, automated analysis, or machine learning applications.
