Sr. Manager, Accounting

Location: 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York; hybrid schedule requiring at least four days per week in the office

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year, bonus eligible

hirify.global is a media and entertainment company producing and distributing film, television, streaming, news, and theme park content through brands including NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Universal Pictures, and DreamWorks Animation.

What you will do

• Oversee monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entry reviews, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Manage general ledger operations, SAP maintenance, finance support, and the account reconciliation tool.
• Review reporting data requests and coordinate financial reporting, account analysis, and ad hoc analyses.
• Support the SAP S/4 transition, corporate initiatives, process changes, and technology-driven efficiency improvements.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors and maintain current SOX documentation.
• Manage, coach, and develop a Senior Accountant while partnering with finance and controllership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control concepts.
• 7+ years of accounting experience; 2+ years of public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work from the New York office at least four days per week under the current hybrid schedule.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
