Manager - Corporate Accounting

Location: Remote, Florida, United States

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounting for share-based compensation, including valuations, expense recognition, forfeitures, modifications, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
• Oversee accounting for pensions, 401(k) contributions, employee benefits, and related accruals and disclosures.
• Manage debt accounting, including interest accruals, issuance cost amortization, covenant reporting, and classification assessments.
• Oversee derivative accounting for interest rate swaps, foreign currency contracts, and other financial instruments in compliance with ASC 815.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, financial statement disclosures, and external audit support.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes through automation, ERP enhancements, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and Certified Public Accountant designation.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4, or in a medium to large international organization.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, especially share-based compensation, pensions, debt, and derivatives.
• Experience with SOX-compliant controls, multinational accounting, and transactions in multiple currencies.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems; SAP or OneStream experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
