Senior Fullstack Engineer (Solana, Perp DEX)

Location: Fully remote across North America or Europe; in-person meetups and company offsites are expected.

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 USD base, depending on seniority, plus an indicative discretionary bonus of around 25% and token allocation.

Early-stage Solana team building a high-performance decentralized exchange for market makers, with spot, borrow/lend, and perpetuals products in development.

What you will do

• Build exchange logic for markets, user accounts, collateral, fees, order routing, matching, margin, liquidation, and risk enforcement.
• Develop the trading interface with order entry, open positions, balances, charts, and live market data.
• Connect Solana wallet flows and backend services to real-time web interfaces.
• Design end-to-end architecture spanning Solana programs, backend services, and frontend applications.
• Implement low-latency data streaming and state management, optimizing latency, throughput, and compute efficiency.
• Own features from design through production while improving tooling, tests, and documentation.

Requirements

• Production Rust experience with systems that have shipped and remained reliable.
• Solana program development using Anchor or native Solana, including strong knowledge of the account model and compute unit budgeting.
• At least 3 years of professional engineering experience and ownership of a system from design through production.
• Experience with latency-sensitive or real-time systems, streaming, WebSockets, and monitored p99 performance.
• Experience with trading or market-making infrastructure such as matching engines, order books, AMMs, margin systems, or liquidation engines.
• Strong TypeScript and React skills for building order-entry flows and live positions views.

Nice to have

• Experience building orderbook-style or trading interfaces.
• Solana wallet and transaction flows in web applications.
• Solana runtime optimization and compute unit profiling.
• Experience with perpetuals, margin trading, funding mechanics, auto-deleveraging, prop AMMs, or execution systems.
• Early-stage or small-team experience.
