Senior Full Stack Developer (C#/React/TypeScript)

Location: Remote-first in the UK, with access to a central London office when required. Flexible 10:00–16:00 core hours across a 37.5-hour week.

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 per annum, plus benefits.

UK-based outdoor retail business selling clothing, footwear, accessories, and equipment through 400 stores and a significant e-commerce operation.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, React, and TypeScript across greenfield and legacy projects.
• Build public-facing applications and internal services for cloud, datacentre, and serverless environments.
• Design microservices-based solutions and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Work with SQL Server and third-party API and SaaS integrations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, modern Git workflows, code reviews, pair programming, and well-tested code.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate on pragmatic technical decisions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• At least 5 years of commercial experience with C#.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and microservice design principles.
• Experience with modern Git workflows and writing high-quality, tested code.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and pragmatic technical decision-making skills.
• Experience or willingness to mentor junior developers.

Nice to have

• Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or Vercel experience.
• Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, RabbitMQ, or MassTransit experience.
• Experience with microfrontends, Test Driven Development, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, or third-party SaaS integrations.
