Communications Coordinator, Product Communications (Gaming)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; hybrid with office attendance Tuesday through Thursday and optional presence Monday and Friday

What you will do

• Create communications materials including briefing books, media lists, interview schedules, and spokesperson grids.
• Support communications strategy, media outreach, media alerts, pitches, and press releases.
• Build media relationships and provide recommendations on communications strategy and tactics.
• Monitor the media and industry landscape to identify storytelling opportunities and potential risks.
• Develop story and campaign ideas and partner on communications for the Roblox Developers Conference.

Requirements

• Internship experience plus 2–3 years of in-house or agency experience.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate key messages clearly.
• Detail-oriented, creative, curious, and comfortable working autonomously with manager support.
• Interest in the gaming and technology space.
• Ability to work from the San Mateo, California office Tuesday through Thursday.
