Equipment Tech

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; onsite hospital-based work

Salary: $15.50–$16.50 per hour

What you will do

• Safely clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants.
• Maintain department par levels, read inventory forms, and obtain supplies through the Stock Acquisition Process.
• Complete daily schedules, upkeep assigned areas, and transport equipment with a pushcart.
• Respond to calls and emails from hospital staff and communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions, follow infection-control and safety procedures, and use required personal protective equipment.
• Support shift leads, fill in during staff shortages, and perform repetitive tasks while standing or walking for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret inventory forms, instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment care, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Completion of all required safety and task-training certifications.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record may be required based on business needs.
