Location: New York, NY, United States. Must be willing to work in New York and have unrestricted work authorization in the United States. Weekend work and flexible hours under breaking-news deadlines are required.

Salary: $93,000–$110,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Produce and publish social media and digital content for The Moment with Katy Tur and its anchor across YouTube, Bluesky, X, TikTok, MS NOW, and direct-to-consumer products.
• Develop the show's digital presence in partnership with the show team.
• Identify timely on-air moments and create original content for digital and social platforms.
• Write, pitch, edit, shoot, and publish social media and digital posts.
• Research and develop digital content supporting segments and interviews.
• Pitch story ideas and produce original content for MS NOW's direct-to-consumer products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in live television, preferably cable news.
• Thorough knowledge of current events, US politics, geopolitics, foreign policy, and history.
• Proficiency in desktop editing and Avid.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY and have unrestricted US work authorization.
• Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours under tight breaking-news deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience producing compelling social media and digital content.
• Experience with Wildmoka.
• Ability to identify high-performing clips and moments that generate views, clicks, and traffic.
• Experience researching, planning, and developing stories.
• Broad news reading experience, including opinion articles.
