Analytics Engineer - Supply Data Solutions (all genders)

What you will do

• Own supply data and create reliable, analysis-ready datasets for pricing, demand planning, and inventory management.
• Identify shared data needs and build reusable mart tables for forecasting, optimisation, and reporting.
• Simplify transformations so downstream teams can use consistent, governed logic.
• Build, monitor, and maintain Python and GCP data pipelines.
• Document schemas, lineage, and data contracts while managing access boundaries, costs, performance, and data validity.
• Mentor junior analysts and improve SQL capabilities across the Supply organisation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional analytics engineering experience or similar experience building governed analytics layers from operational data.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex CTEs, window functions, and query optimisation.
• Strong Python skills for ETL and orchestration, with hands-on experience in GCP, BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD.
• Ability to analyse complex systems, create structured improvement plans, and take ownership of platform health, monitoring, governance, and reliability.
• Ability to balance long-term system design with immediate business value and collaborate across source teams, data scientists, analysts, and downstream consumers.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt or Dagster.
• Familiarity with AWS Batch, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Supply chain or logistics domain knowledge.
• Experience with data cataloging or data observability platforms.
