EDI Mapping Specialist (E-Invoicing)

Location: Remote from Austria, Germany, Spain, the UK, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Croatia, France, or Poland

Salary: Minimum €42,000 per year under the Austrian collective agreement; higher compensation depends on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Work on EDI and e-invoicing projects from implementation through support.
• Analyze and create mappings for convertible data formats and protocols.
• Implement country-specific e-invoicing regulations in mapping structures.
• Support the initiation and management of customer projects.
• Solve mapping problems using structured documentation and ticket-based workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Integration Engineering without direct customer contact.

Requirements

• Experience with structured data formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with a mapping tool such as Altova MapForce, Seeburger BIS, or Lobster.
• Experience implementing e-invoicing country regulations in mapping structures.
• Good verbal and written technical English skills.
• Strong team orientation, commitment, critical thinking, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI formats such as EDIFACT or ANSI X12.
• Technical college or higher IT education, or equivalent EDI work experience.
• Basic programming skills for troubleshooting.
