Project Control Analyst

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, or New Jersey, United States

Provides project controls support and analysis for client projects.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules to identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Track costs, prepare forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
• Calculate and analyze earned value metrics and maintain EVM schedules through project closeout.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage scope and resources.
• Optimize project controls processes, metrics, and reports while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Facilitate project communication, make data-backed recommendations, and train new Project Controls Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, construction technology, civil engineering, another engineering discipline, business management, or analytics, plus 3 years of related experience; alternatively, a related certification and 3 years of experience, or 4 years of related experience without the degree.
• Experience in project controls, project management, construction management, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel data analysis skills, including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
• Ability to use Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud to create and maintain CPM and EVM schedules and meet client reporting requirements.
• Residency in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, or New Jersey is required.

Nice to have

• Five years of related work experience.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle Suite, or other job-related software.
• Client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of the construction or utilities industries.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
