F5 Distributed Cloud Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Design and deploy F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Deliver secure application networking, API protection (WAAP), and DDoS mitigation for global enterprise customers.
• Automate deployment and configuration processes using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage direct technical relationships with clients, providing proactive guidance and support.

Requirements

• Must be based in and remain based in Costa Rica for the duration of employment.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) or deep expertise in F5 BIG-IP, WAAP, and API security.
• Strong fundamentals in networking and security, including BGP, DNS, IPSec, firewalls, and routing.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with distributed teams.
