Accounts Receivable Specialist (AI Infrastructure)

Location: London, UK; hybrid

Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity

What you will do

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices according to contract terms and billing schedules.
• Monitor receivables, follow collection procedures, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Apply incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to address billing queries and support renewals.
• Maintain accurate customer records in accounting or billing systems.
• Prepare accounts receivable reports, aging schedules, reconciliations, and audit documentation while supporting process improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles related to receivables, invoicing, and cash application.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data and customer accounts.
• Experience with accounting or billing software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage high invoice volumes and payment disputes.
• Right to work in the UK is verified as part of pre-employment screening.
