Senior Biostatistician II

Location: Paddington, United Kingdom. Hybrid work is available remotely up to two days per week, or the role may be performed on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

What you will do

• Lead scientific and operational statistical work for clinical trials, observational studies, and real world data investigations.
• Design and analyze studies, including sample size estimates, randomization plans, statistical methods, and statistical analysis plans with TFL shells.
• Provide statistical leadership and strategic guidance across Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, and Real World Evidence teams.
• Develop cross-functional data review plans, key results memos, data dissemination plans, clinical study reports, publications, and posters.
• Collaborate with statistical programmers and other functions to deliver high-quality tables, figures, and listings on schedule.
• Represent Real World Statistics in internal review forums and contribute to interactions with regulators, payers, and review boards.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biostatistics or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience, or an M.S. with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Competence with SAS and R statistical software.
• Advanced understanding of statistical methods used in drug development and post-marketing research.
• Critical thinking, logical problem-solving, and the ability to address complex issues with minimal guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-statisticians and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Availability for hybrid work in Paddington or on-site work five days per week.
