Associate Cyber Security Tester (AI)

Location: London, UK. Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office. Right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Conduct penetration tests and retests for applications, complex infrastructure, mobile platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Define engagement scopes, document terms, perform security assessments, and communicate findings.
• Use AI-assisted tools for research, vulnerability analysis, and reporting with appropriate validation and professional judgement.
• Assess security risks in AI- and LLM-based applications and contribute to testing these technologies.
• Work with business teams to scope projects and advise on remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Research emerging technologies, attack techniques, threats, and security testing methodologies.

Requirements

• Practical penetration testing experience, or a relevant degree/equivalent qualification or completion of the hirify.global Cyber Graduate Scheme.
• Demonstrable interest in AI and its application in cybersecurity, including awareness of AI-assisted security tooling and AI-enabled application risks.
• Knowledge of common infrastructure and application penetration testing tools.
• Curiosity, continuous learning, strong organisation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ethical integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• OSCP, PNPT, CPTS, CREST CRT, or Burp Suite Certified Practitioner certification.
• AI, ML, or GenAI certification, or practical experience using AI and LLMs to improve security testing.
