Application Production Support (Oracle): Supporting securities services applications in a hybrid Lisbon or Porto environment with an accent on Oracle SQL, operational scripting, Ansible automation, and structured incident management. Location: Hybrid, based in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal 2–3 times per week

What you will do
- Provide production support for applications within a Securities Services platform.
- Write scripts to automate procedure-oriented support tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Use Ansible and DevOps practices to standardize and improve operational procedures.
- Manage incidents, tasks, documentation, and follow-up across support workflows.
- Communicate updates on incidents, tasks, and projects to business stakeholders, team members, and partner teams.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer.
- Mandatory proficiency in Oracle SQL.
- Experience writing scripts for operational automation.
- Familiarity with Ansible and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Fluent English at B2 level; based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Unix.
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks.
