Procurement Contracts Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Act as the Procurement Contract Manager focal point for Space Systems activities and programs.
• Assess contractual baselines and bid terms, support calls for tenders, lead negotiations, and oversee contract awards.
• Draft, negotiate, validate, and manage complex contracts, amendments, claims, settlement agreements, and other contractual documents.
• Analyze and mitigate contractual risks, including disagreements, potential disputes, claims, and pre-litigation matters with suppliers and partners.
• Advise Procurement, Sales, Finance, Legal, Export Control, and other stakeholders on contract design, intellectual property, confidentiality, and strategic projects.
• Develop Procurement Academy training, coach stakeholders, and standardize procurement contracts and processes.

Requirements

• Legal background or contractual knowledge gained through previous experience.
• 8+ years of experience in contract negotiation, with exposure to Sales and/or Procurement.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, with strong drafting skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Pragmatic approach to balancing contractual and business risks, priorities, oversight, and compliance.
• Security clearance is required, or eligibility to obtain clearance from recognized authorities is necessary.
