Translation Project Manager (AI)

Location: Graz, Austria

Salary: Minimum gross monthly salary of €3,500 for full-time employment, with the final salary adjusted according to qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Manage multiple international translation and localization projects from planning through high-quality, timely delivery.
• Coordinate translators, reviewers, agencies, service providers, and internal stakeholders across international teams.
• Optimize translation processes using automation, AI-supported tools, and scalable localization workflows.
• Administer and configure translation management software, including user management, terminology, glossaries, and translation memories.
• Evaluate and introduce AI-supported translation solutions, including large language models and workflow automation.
• Define and monitor KPIs, standards, workflows, and best practices for quality, turnaround time, automation, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in translation studies, language technology, computational linguistics, AI, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in translation, language technology, or localization project management.
• Strong project management, coordination, prioritization, analytical, and process-design skills.
• Experience with translation management systems, terminology management, translation memories, localization QA, and multilingual publishing processes.
• Practical experience with AI-supported translation technologies, large language models, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.
• English and German at C1 level required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SCHEMA ST4, Adobe FrameMaker, and project management tools.
• Experience coordinating international stakeholders, translation agencies, and external service providers.
• Additional language skills.
