Registered Nurse CDH ED Full-time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Onsite night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including an every-third-weekend rotation.

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care and determine appropriate use of support staff.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary healthcare staff.
• Document care plans, interventions, communications, and patient responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Ability to work onsite in Winfield, Illinois, on overnight shifts and every third weekend.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area, especially emergency or pediatric emergency care.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
