What you will do
- Design and deliver complex data pipelines and scalable data models.
- Help oversee the design and delivery of modern data platforms supporting eight business divisions.
- Guide technical direction across data engineering projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to turn business needs into impactful data solutions.
- Drive AI/ML-ready data platform architecture and establish best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
- Mentor a growing data engineering team and contribute to wider data strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer in complex environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with modern data engineering tools across cloud platforms.
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, data architecture, and data quality frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to shape solutions from ambiguity.
- Curiosity and a passion for turning data into meaningful business value.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Redshift, dbt, and Databricks.
- Experience with AI/ML tooling, data preparation, orchestration, and cataloguing.
- Experience mentoring and helping others grow.
