operates a large Business Intelligence Systems domain supporting data solutions for Finance, Product, Marketing, and Contact Centre functions.
What you will do
- Build and modernize cloud-first data infrastructure and business intelligence solutions.
- Develop data products and solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Power BI, SQL, and Python.
- Build data ingestion pipelines through Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and API integrations.
- Support cost-saving initiatives, cyber resilience, data security controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Optimize internal workflows and operational stability while collaborating with multifunctional product teams.
- Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to pair-programming.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake and Databricks.
- Experience building ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and API integrations.
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Experience collaborating in fast-moving, multifunctional product teams.
- Strong spoken and written English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with PySpark or PySQL.
- Knowledge of dimensional modelling and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with SQL Server SSAS Tabular, DAX, SQL Server RDBMS, or Managed Instance.
- Knowledge of Azure Event Hubs or Active Batch.
- Interest in applying AI and machine learning to real-world data problems.
