Customer Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Dundee, Scotland; attendance at the Dundee office is required two days per week. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Develop and support data transformations and migrations for customer projects.
• Design and implement custom ETL processes, data pipelines, and data marts.
• Connect to diverse data sources and apply data quality measures.
• Investigate data mismatches and implement solutions.
• Partner with Customer Success teams and clients to define, plan, and execute data projects.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar technical, client-facing role, or a STEM degree.
• Strong experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and solve problems independently.
• Hybrid work with two days per week in the Dundee office is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python, Airflow, ETL tools, Snowflake, or MSSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Interest in using AI tools to improve work efficiency.
