Senior Go Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve reliable, scalable backend services in Go.
• Develop KYC, transaction monitoring, risk assessment, and anti-fraud systems.
• Design APIs, data models, and service boundaries.
• Make architectural and technical decisions focused on long-term maintainability.
• Improve observability, performance, resilience, and operational tooling for production systems.
• Own technical work from problem definition and design through production operation, while collaborating with Product, Risk, Compliance, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Strong professional backend engineering experience and deep production experience with Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and microservices.
• Experience designing and evolving APIs, backend contracts, relational databases, and data models.
• Experience building production systems where reliability, security, and correctness are critical.
• Understanding of testing strategies, observability, and production operations, with the ability to drive technically ambiguous problems independently.
• Professional working proficiency in English and strong communication skills for explaining technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, KYC/KYB, AML, transaction monitoring, fraud detection, risk engines, rules engines, or decisioning platforms.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems or security-sensitive and regulated environments.
