Senior Software Engineer - Observability, Managed Inputs (Go)

Salary: 307,800–486,900 PLN base salary

What you will do

• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain scalable backend features for Managed Inputs and Managed Integrations across three major cloud providers.
• Build and operate ingestion pipelines for telemetry from hirify.global Agents, OpenTelemetry collectors, agentless setups, and cloud sources.
• Own projects and features from concept through delivery.
• Provide engineering support for escalated customer cases and participate in an on-call rotation of 12 hours per day for one week every 8–10 weeks.
• Monitor alerts, define SLIs and SLOs, maintain system stability, and contribute to safe deployments.
• Review pull requests, mentor peers, and collaborate across a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Intermediate to expert Go skills with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and Kafka.
• Intermediate experience with observability, including tracing, metrics, logs, and profiling.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems, including design trade-offs.
• Ability to work autonomously, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate through asynchronous and transparent communication.
• Experience with or interest in OpenTelemetry and AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience designing high-availability services that ingest terabytes of data per day.
• Experience as an operational responder or incident commander.
• Experience with hirify.globalsearch or Kibana.
• Open-source development experience and experience working in fully remote teams.
