Senior Golang Engineer — Test Infrastructure Transformation (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze the existing Java-based test automation infrastructure and transform it into Golang.
• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable test infrastructure and engineering tools.
• Migrate, redesign, or replace Java components while maintaining testing stability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and define the technical approach for the transformation.
• Integrate the new infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and the broader development environment.
• Collaborate with QA, Backend, and DevOps engineers; troubleshoot issues and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Golang at Senior Engineer level.
• Hands-on experience with test automation infrastructure, testing frameworks, or internal engineering tools.
• Experience with Java and existing Java codebases, backend or infrastructure modernization, and migration projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, backend systems, and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Russian, plus strong independent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
