Start-up Engineer (MedTech)

Salary: €72,500–€115,230 per year

What you will do

• Lead major strategic programs, including the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, and proactively manage project risks.
• Represent Operations in process design and align implementation plans with the CAR-T site strategy for Tech Lane, Obelisc, and Beerse.
• Develop project budgets and manage financial execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive facility and operational readiness for CAR-T manufacturing implementation.
• Ensure quality and compliance through change controls, inspection readiness, and audit representation.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with QA, QC, MSAT, EHS, IT, Planning, external partners, and global project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field such as Engineering, Bioscience, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in manufacturing, operations, or project management.
• Experience in aseptic manufacturing and GMP-regulated environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing science and technology, assembly operations, validation master plans, predictive analytics, or agile manufacturing.
• Experience in leadership, supervision, compliance management, or developing others.
