Financial Controller (Global Finance): Owning financial close, reporting, consolidation, and compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions with an accent on multi-currency accounting, IFRS/US GAAP, and strong internal controls. Focus on reconciling intercompany transactions, managing statutory filings and audits, consolidating financials, and automating finance processes across a global EOR structure.
Location: Remote from Poland, the Philippines, Turkey, Morocco, or Romania

What you will do
- Own month-end and year-end close processes across all entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Oversee AR/AP, contractor reconciliations, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing documentation, and multi-currency consolidation.
- Manage statutory financial statements, tax filings, licensing obligations, and coordination with local accountants, advisors, and auditors.
- Build internal controls aligned with local GAAP and IFRS requirements.
- Improve finance processes through standardization and automation, and support due diligence and integration for new entities or acquisitions.
- Oversee cash flow, treasury, intercompany funding, FX exposure, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while mentoring accountants and finance analysts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of accounting or finance experience, including 2–3 years in multi-entity or multi-country consolidation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or ACCA qualification.
- Strong experience with multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency close processes, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and consolidation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, plus experience with ERP, accounting, and consolidation tools.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in EOR, PEO, HR tech, or global payroll.
- Assistant Audit Manager or Senior Auditor experience at a Big Four firm or similar organization.
- Exposure to global payroll compliance and employment cost structures.
- Experience in a fast-growing, remote-first company.
