Sub-Regional Controller

What you will do

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes across the assigned country scope.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analyses, statutory statements, and management reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare schedules, and respond to auditor and authority requests.
• Execute and monitor internal controls, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with Global Business Services, Tax, Treasury, Technical Accounting, and Reporting teams.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities while supporting finance transformation projects and mentoring junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including financial close and reporting.
• Experience in multinational environments and multi-GAAP reporting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, local GAAP, tax, statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Fluent English required; an additional local language is preferred.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Exposure to audit, tax, treasury, or finance operations.
• Experience working in a multi-country, matrix organization.
