Planning & Reporting Financial Controller

Location: Brasov, Romania; hybrid work schedule with transportation provided in the Brașov area.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, multi-year target setting, and business request challenge activities.
• Develop financial models, simulations, scenarios, and business cases for projects, M&A, and tenders.
• Prepare financial reporting, analyze performance deviations, and advise on corrective actions and optimization opportunities.
• Calculate hourly rates and support resource reviews, headcount targets, chargebacks, cost reallocations, commitments, and accruals.
• Define cost accounting structures and support funding, tax, treasury, accounting, public contract, and compliance processes.
• Communicate financial insights to business stakeholders, Investor Relations, auditors, and affiliate organizations.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in Finance or Controlling.
• Solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German or French.
