Fullstack/Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote with required travel to the US office in Herndon, Virginia at short notice; candidates based in Virginia or within easy travelling distance are strongly preferred.

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 base salary per year, plus an annual bonus of up to 25% and equity.

What you will do

• Build new product and platform functionality.
• Own Python-heavy backend and data engineering work.
• Develop reliable systems for data-rich and AI-enabled workflows.
• Integrate ML tooling and machine learning capabilities into products.
• Contribute across the stack, including React or Vue development when needed.
• Work with customer and mission stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into technical solutions and help shape engineering standards.

Requirements

• Excellent Python engineering skills.
• Strong production experience in backend and/or data engineering.
• Independent delivery of meaningful software projects.
• Experience with ML tooling, AI-enabled products, and data-intensive applications.
• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a US security clearance are required.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have

• Existing US security clearance.
• Experience with React or Vue.
