Domestic Sales Orders Team Lead

Location: Shanghai, China; hybrid work with up to 60% of time from home

What you will do

• Supervise a team responsible for accurate and timely sales order management from order entry through invoicing.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify deviations from targets, and coordinate remediation actions.
• Resolve operational issues and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coach and develop up to five Sales Order Analysts, allocate workloads, and support employee performance and engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement, process automation, and participation in regional and global projects.
• Coordinate onboarding and professional training for new team members and direct reports.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, Order to Cash, or commercial conditions management.
• At least 2 years of experience as a team lead.
• Strong understanding of commercial policies, pricing, rebates, invoices, returns, and claims.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin is required when supporting China.
• Hands-on SAP experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills; SAP S/4HANA and SD experience are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, customer service, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in a Business Services organization or transition projects.
• Experience with process automation, process mining, or data analytics.
• Good business acumen and experience leading change.
