Senior Solutions Architect I, Pre-Sales - AUS (Geospatial)

Location: Remote, based in Australia. If located near an office, work from that office 3 days per week. Travel, including international travel, may reach 50%.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver solution demonstrations and presentations showing the technical capabilities and business value of satellite imagery products.
• Advise Australia and New Zealand defence and intelligence customers on solutions architectures that address their operational challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and executive government stakeholders.
• Prepare technical responses to tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Partner with sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development to shape account strategies and represent customer needs.
• Mentor team members and lead technical training, workshops, and customer engagements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical experience supporting the Australia and/or New Zealand Defence and Intelligence community.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with GIS and remote-sensing users in the defence industry, including IMINT, ISR, and related fields.
• Experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL, Python, geospatial software, APIs, imagery processing, and data pipelines.
• Ability to design and present complex, scalable solutions and coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eligibility for an Australian security clearance must be obtained and maintained. Professional working proficiency in English is required.

• Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
• Experience leading technical customer engagements, workshops, or user training.
