TL;DR
Database Administrator (MS SQL) (Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle): Administering business-critical database systems in development, testing, and production environments with an accent on availability, performance, security, backup and recovery. Focus on query tuning, disaster recovery, database migrations, and supporting reliable business applications.

What you will do
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Administer databases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
- Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.
- Manage database security, user access, roles, permissions, and performance optimization.
- Support Oracle administration and collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and security teams, including on-call support when required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of database administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and knowledge of T-SQL.
- Experience with database backup and recovery, query optimization, performance tuning, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience supporting Oracle database environments and working with Windows Server.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, independent working, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Database Administration, or Oracle technologies.
