Hybrid Cloud & Migration Services Intern

Location: DXC office, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; hybrid with 1–2 days on site. Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

What you will do

• Assist with provisioning and monitoring cloud resources across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Support cloud environment management for compute, networking, and storage.
• Assist with access reviews, policy compliance, server maintenance, and Windows/Linux troubleshooting.
• Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms and monitor system performance.
• Track incidents, maintain technical documentation, and prepare reports.
• Assist with automation using PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or command-line tools.

Requirements

• Eligibility: Malaysian citizens only and final-year students.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud concepts, Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python; familiarity with ITSM or monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organisation, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
