Commercial Administrator

Location: Social Infrastructure - Thame, United Kingdom; flexibility to travel as required.

What you will do

• Support commercial management across the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects.
• Assist with contract management under JCT and NEC 3/4 contracts, including Options A and C.
• Coordinate subcontractor negotiations, payments, applications, and performance tracking.
• Measure completed works and support accurate, timely billing processes.
• Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation and Earned Value Analysis reports.
• Maintain robust commercial documentation and support the wider commercial team.

Requirements

• Experience with NHF Schedule of Rates or similar bespoke Schedule of Rates.
• Familiarity with the construction industry and basic understanding of standard methods of measurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Five GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9-4, including Mathematics and English; Science is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Previous Level 4 qualification in a related discipline.
• Previous construction industry experience.
