Product Manager - Production Platform (Manufacturing)

Location: Berlin, Germany, with regular on-site collaboration expected at the Richen production plant. Flexible hybrid work is available, with the option to work from abroad for up to 40 days per year.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end product development for the production platform, from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Define solutions for manufacturing system integration, production control, operational data availability, validation, and simulation.
• Translate business and factory needs into product roadmaps, requirements, and actionable priorities.
• Collaborate with software engineers, automation engineers, industrial engineers, designers, and production stakeholders to build and adopt solutions.
• Use data and user feedback to validate solutions, improve product performance, and maintain operational transparency.
• Support process documentation, product standardization, complexity reduction, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in B2B, industrial technology, manufacturing, automation, or platform environments.
• Experience with software products and technical systems involving manufacturing, automation, industrial data, simulation, or machine integration.
• Proven ability to deliver digital product initiatives across engineering, software development, and operational teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with agile product development, product brief writing, process mapping, roadmap management, and AI tools for productivity.
