What you will do
- Prepare, validate and process payroll for approximately 1,300 employees.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on payroll and workforce management processes.
- Review payroll data, reconciliations and calculations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Support payroll audits, system developments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.
- Build effective working relationships with managers, employees and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience using Dayforce payroll and workforce management systems.
- Experience processing payroll in a complex organisation.
- Knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis, reporting and reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, communication and customer service skills.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience using Workday HR systems.
- End-to-end payroll experience.
- Experience supporting payroll audits or system implementation activities.
- Professional payroll qualifications or relevant continuing professional development.
