Site Coordinator - Mackay (Fuel Terminal Operations)

Location: Hamilton Drive, Mackay Harbour, Australia. Full-time onsite role, Monday to Friday, with additional hours for evening, weekend, or public-holiday shipments. Applicants must hold full working rights for employment in Australia.

What you will do

• Lead a team of two and deliver safe, compliant, and efficient terminal operations.
• Champion HSSE performance, implement management systems, and support WorkSafe and EPA audits.
• Maintain emergency response readiness through procedure reviews and equipment testing.
• Lead asset integrity, capital, maintenance, training, and competency programs.
• Manage shipping schedules, product availability, quality assurance, and relationships with providers, regulators, council, community stakeholders, and the joint venture partner.
• Perform and oversee terminal activities including fuel monitoring, sampling, testing, permit-to-work controls, truck loading, equipment inspections, and receipt of ship-imported fuels.

Requirements

• Experience leading operational teams with a focus on collaboration and performance.
• Strong supervisory, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fuel terminal operations, asset management, and capital program delivery.
• Strong commitment to HSSE compliance and safe work systems.
• Proactive approach with sound judgment and decision-making ability.
