Lead Software Engineer - Financial Risk Integration

Location: Bad Homburg, Germany; hybrid work with two required office days per week

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of Risk Fusion services.
• Design APIs and ETL pipelines for integrating SimCorp Dimension and Axioma Risk.
• Extract instrument terms and conditions, map them to the Axioma Risk format, and import them into Axioma Risk.
• Collaborate with Product, Consulting, and QA teams.
• Develop automated tests for new features.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, ETL pipelines, and data integrations.
• Basic understanding of pricing methodologies for equities, bonds, FX, futures, options, and OTC derivatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work from the Bad Homburg office two days per week.

Nice to have

• CFA, FRM, or an equivalent financial certification.
• Understanding of OTC instrument terms and conditions, including swaps, FX forwards, and TRS.
• Knowledge of VaR, stress testing, factor risk, and other risk analytics.
• Experience with Axioma Risk workflows and integration.
