Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure/GCP)

Location: Dublin, Ireland. Candidates must have current and unrestricted work authorization in Ireland; visa sponsorship and work authorization support are not available.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize highly available cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP.
• Build and maintain production microservices environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain CI infrastructure and build, test, and package pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve system scalability, stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and enforce cloud security, compliance, observability, and infrastructure automation practices.
• Mentor cloud engineers, review work, share best practices, and align cloud strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related infrastructure role.
• Hands-on experience deploying SaaS products across major cloud providers, especially Azure and GCP.
• At least 2 years of experience with Python, Java, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of database and distributed data technologies including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Redis, and Kafka.
• Strong background in Unix/Linux systems administration, cloud-native infrastructure, observability, and SecOps.
