Senior Data Scientist (Fintech)

hirify.global is developing machine learning and data science solutions for credit scoring, recommendation engines, and related financial applications.

What you will do

• Work in a multidisciplinary team to turn discoveries and ideas into machine learning models.
• Prototype diverse models, including credit scoring and recommendation engines.
• Research and develop improvements using large and unique datasets.
• Own the full delivery cycle from initial idea generation to final product implementation.
• Contribute to advancing data science capabilities at hirify.global.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, engineering, or artificial intelligence.
• Ability to build robust end-to-end predictive models using modern machine learning techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL platforms such as S3.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using alternative data to evaluate credit risk.
• Experience building end-to-end deep learning or NLP models.
