Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Singapore office; occasional travel of up to one trip per year for conferences, research collaborations, or business meetings.

What you will do

• Research, design, and implement reward-based reinforcement learning agents for testing gaming applications.
• Develop agents and retrieval-augmented generation solutions for dynamic game content, adaptive player interactions, and gaming experiences.
• Collaborate with game developers, designers, AI engineers, and software engineers to integrate AI models into development workflows.
• Build and optimize AI-powered gaming tools and fine-tune models for practical applications.
• Analyze and preprocess game data, evaluate model performance and drift, and improve efficiency and scalability.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and research publication of AI models.

Requirements

• Strong background in reinforcement learning, generative AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow for deep learning.
• Familiarity with large language models, transformers, diffusion models, self-learning AI systems, and large-scale model training and fine-tuning.
• Experience with cloud-based AI deployment using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Master’s or PhD in computer science, AI, machine learning, or a related field, plus at least one year of AI research or applied machine learning experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of gaming mechanics, AI-driven storytelling, and player engagement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Background in gaming or interactive media.
