TL;DR
Senior Data Scientist (AI/GCP): Applying predictive, forecasting, simulation, and optimization models to air network planning and operational decisions with an accent on GCP-based AI enablement, SQL, Python, and analytical visualization. Focus on evaluating model outputs, operating machine learning and Generative AI solutions, and translating complex analyses into actionable planning recommendations.
Location: Onsite in Singapore or Hong Kong

What you will do
- Apply predictive, forecasting, simulation, and optimization models to air network planning, capacity planning, and operational problems.
- Evaluate model outputs and assumptions, perform scenario analysis, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Operate, monitor, and support AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions in Google Cloud Platform.
- Analyze complex datasets with SQL, Python, statistical methods, and visualization tools.
- Develop dashboards, performance measures, reporting tools, and analytical products for management decision-making.
- Coordinate analytical work across technical and business teams and support digital transformation, automation, training, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 2–5 years of practical experience in applied Data Science, Operations Research, Decision Science, or advanced analytics.
- Hands-on experience applying predictive or optimization models to operational or business decisions.
- Strong SQL, Python, data analysis, and visualization skills, including Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of forecasting, statistical analysis, optimization, linear or integer programming, simulation, network optimization, scheduling, or resource allocation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience operating AI or machine learning solutions and using BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini, or related GCP services.
- Experience in logistics, aviation, transportation, supply chain, or network planning.
- Experience with Generative AI, large language models, AI agents, Databricks, Gurobi, CPLEX, or OR-Tools.
