Receivables Specialist, LATAM

What you will do

• Manage customer accounts across LATAM and follow up on outstanding invoices and payment commitments.
• Monitor open and overdue invoices, escalate payment issues, and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Prepare collection forecasts based on customer commitments and account status.
• Review bank statements, identify received payments, and support accurate reconciliation and allocation.
• Collect withholding tax certificates, maintain account records, and document collection activities and next steps.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and other teams to resolve payment delays and report collection progress.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or a related finance function.
• Advanced to fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and English, especially for customer and stakeholder communication.
• Direct customer-facing experience with collections, payment follow-up, or accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, payment reconciliation, and account maintenance.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS, technology, or telecom company.
• Experience with Salesforce, Workday, Esker, or similar business systems.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools.

Hiring process
