Fund Operations Manager

Location: Remote within listed Latin American locations: Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. Work schedule: EST, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

What you will do

• Produce monthly NAV calculations for custom funds and maintain accurate fund books, records, and systems of record.
• Reconcile fund positions, cash balances, and transactions, identify breaks, and resolve discrepancies before close.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, expenses, revenue, and internal financial reporting for the management company.
• Manage subscriptions, redemptions, investor onboarding documentation, investor reporting, and documentation requests.
• Respond to Limited Partner inquiries by email and participate in investor calls when needed.
• Improve NAV and reconciliation workflows, maintain internal fund-data applications, and support new fund formations and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of back-office or fund operations experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, SEC-registered RIA, or fund administrator.
• Hands-on ownership of monthly NAV production, including position, cash, and transaction reconciliation for at least one fund.
• Fund accounting experience covering books and records, investor statements, and independent month-end close.
• Working knowledge of trade lifecycle and settlement processes, including break identification and resolution.
• Experience with management company AP, AR, bookkeeping, investor operations, subscriptions, redemptions, onboarding, or Limited Partner communications.
• C1+ English required for investor-facing email and occasional calls with Limited Partners.

Nice to have

• Experience at an asset manager with fewer than 50 employees or ownership of a fund vertical.
• Exposure to multi-manager hedge funds, custom funds, managed accounts, fund formations, or new fund launches.
• Experience with Juniper Square, Allvue, Carta, SS&C, Advent Geneva, or similar fund administration platforms.
• Experience working US Eastern business hours from Latin America.
