Customer Engineer-DDP (Semiconductor)

Location: Dalian, China; on-site customer and cleanroom work required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to assess equipment issues, with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers on process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Coordinate directly with customers and provide technical communication and service support.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to meet on-site safety, environmental, cleanroom, and physical requirements, including lifting up to 35 lbs. and working with PPE, hand tools, electricity, heights, and confined spaces.
