is a Vantora portfolio company building an AI-powered platform for freight billing, revenue integrity, and cash-flow automation.
What you will do
- Lead and grow the engineering function while remaining hands-on with development, code reviews, architecture, and team building.
- Own the core platform architecture, including data ingestion and normalization pipelines, AI/ML and rules-based validation layers, and secure enterprise infrastructure.
- Build integrations with transportation management systems, ERP platforms, billing systems, and other operational data sources.
- Design systems for invoice validation, discrepancy detection, exception handling, auditability, explainability, and closed-loop resolution.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and business stakeholders to automate complex freight billing workflows.
- Establish engineering practices for security, CI/CD, observability, testing, documentation, reliability, and enterprise scale.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years leading small, high-impact teams.
- Strong backend or full-stack engineering background with the ability to remain hands-on.
- Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms with complex data pipelines and system integrations.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AI/ML systems, including LLMs, rules engines, optimization, or validation models.
- Experience leading distributed nearshore or offshore engineering teams and collaborating with Product and Data Science.

- Experience with enterprise finance, billing, or revenue systems.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or fintech.
