TL;DR
Principal AI Engineer (Python/AI): Shaping the architecture of Python-based extraction, load, and data pipeline infrastructure supporting more than 500 integrations, with an accent on distributed systems, reliability, and AI-assisted engineering. Focus on designing agentic development frameworks, modernizing legacy systems, and establishing validation, testing, and architectural guardrails for scalable delivery.
Location: Remote; candidates must be based outside Russia and be open to relocating to Latin America, such as Argentina or Uruguay, after the trial period for EST time zone alignment.

A Series A startup building a unified marketing intelligence platform for enterprise customers, with a core platform team responsible for more than 500 integrations.
What you will do
- Own the architecture of data extraction, loading, and pipeline systems operating at scale.
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and improve performance and reliability across Kubernetes, distributed systems, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL.
- Lead the modernization of legacy pipeline systems into scalable, AI-native infrastructure.
- Design and implement agentic development frameworks covering AI-assisted coding, automated acceptance, validation, testing, and rollout.
- Define technical decisions and engineering standards while mentoring engineers on safe AI-assisted development.
- Collaborate with product and AI teams on agentic framework adoption and new integration capabilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience with Python, including at least 2 years in a principal- or architect-level role.
- Experience designing and scaling complex production systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, Claude Code, agentic coding, and agentic frameworks for code maintenance and rollout.
- Strong background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, workflow orchestration such as Temporal, and message queues such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience with secure, resilient systems, observability, alerting, incident response, SQL, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse query optimization.
- Fluency in English and ability to work within the EST timezone are required.
